About the Area
War in Ukraine since 2014 has caused a large amount of both military personnel and civilians to have been injured and lose limbs. It is estimated currently that 20,000+ people need prosthetic devices so they will have the ability to walk again. That number grows daily.
LimbFit has partnered with a Ukrainian organization called Maximum to help address this need. Working together, we are currently in the process of building a central fabrication lab and clinic in the city of Zolotonosha where Maximum is located.
We plan to hold our first patient clinic in September 2023 to start caring for those in need of a prosthetic device-one patient at a time.
